Double breasted suits

Double breasted suits derived its' name "Double breasted" from the button designs and arrangement. The jackets of double breasted suits have two parallel columns of buttons. The left columns of buttons are decorative while the right column buttons are functional. To ensure that the two columns are rightly positioned and strengthened, a functional inner-button called the "anchor button" is usually added to parallel-fasten the two sides from the inside of the jacket.

At suits.com.ng, we recommend that you fasten only the second (middle) button of your Double breasted suits, leaving the last functional button down unfastened. The design of a double breasted suit made it a formal suit that should be worn with the formal suit accessories. You can wear your double breasted suits for formal events like  we have in Tuxedos.
